Cliff T. Davis
Chief Executive Officer, Director
Mr. Davis was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2008 after having served as Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer since 2002 and CFO from 1994 to 2000. During the period from 2000 - 2002 he was the Chairman and CEO of a public chemical manufacturing company. Mr. Davis is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Prior to joining Nevsun in 1994, he was an audit partner in the international accounting firm, KPMG where he provided services predominantly to public companies in the resource, industrial and financial sectors. Mr. Davis has had experience as a director of a number of other Canadian public companies in the industrial and mining industries. He currently sits on the board of one other junior resource company.
Frazer W. Bourchier
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bourchier has over 22 years of industry experience, working with Placer Dome and Barrick operations for the first 16 years, including significant international experience in South Africa and Papua New Guinea. His operational positions have included Mining Manager, Operations Manager and Mine General Manager. Before joining Nevsun in January 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Bourchier was the Vice President Business Development and Technical Services for Silver Wheaton and previously the Vice President Operations and Business Development for Intrepid Mines. Mr. Bourchier is a Professional Engineer with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Science & Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Joseph Giuffre
Chief Legal Officer
Mr. Giuffre, B.A., LLB., was a founding partner of Axium Law Corporation, a Vancouver based law firm and was previously a partner of Gowlings, a full service national law firm. He has over twenty-five years of combined business and legal experience and has acted for a wide range of Canadian and foreign public corporations, principally in the mining sector. Mr. Giuffre has advised on securities and stock exchange and regulatory matters, public offerings, joint venture transactions, debt and equity financing, mergers and corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale arrangements, corporate governance matters and various other complex commercial matters. Mr. Giuffre joined Nevsun in January 2013.
Fausto Taddei
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Taddei was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company in January 2013. Previously, Mr. Taddei served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Aura Minerals Inc. and prior to that served as Chief Financial Officer of Western Canadian Coal Corp. In those capacities, he was involved in the copper, gold and bulk commodities business, with multiple mining operations throughout the Americas, responsible for financing, treasury functions, off-take arrangements, tax planning and public company reporting matters. Mr. Taddei is a Chartered Accountant and, for the past 25 years, has held senior accounting and finance roles in public companies, primarily in the natural resource sector. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of British Columbia and is a member of Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Peter Hardie
VP Finance
Mr. Hardie is a Chartered Accountant with 13 years of industry and public accounting experience, including four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver with their mining department. Peter has been with Nevsun since February 2005 when he started as Controller of the Company. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia in 1997.
Peter Manojlovic
Vice President Exploration
Prior to joining Nevsun in September 2012, Mr. Manojlovic served as Vice President Exploration at Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. where his team discovered the Umwelt and Llama gold deposits and expanded the world class Hackett River VMS deposit. Mr. Manojlovic has over 25 years of
years of global mineral exploration experience working in Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia, and has been a key member in the discovery of a number of VMS, gold and nickel deposits in Canada, Norway and Vietnam. Mr. Manojlovic graduated with an Honours BSc from the University of
Western Ontario and received an MSc degree in Geology from Carlton University.
Todd Romaine
Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility
Mr. Romaine brings with him over 10 years of industry experience overseeing CSR programs including policy & process development, operational governance, environmental monitoring and public awareness initiatives with stakeholders and the public. Working for the past four years with Enbridge Inc., Mr. Romaine has also worked with Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and the Government of Nunavut. He has a BSc in Environmental planning, a BA in Environmental studies an MA in Leadership as well as International Relations. Mr. Romaine joined Nevsun in November 2012.
Scott Trebilcock
VP Business Development and Investor Relations
Mr. Trebilcock is a process engineer and MBA with 14 years of industry and consulting experience, working with Nautilus Minerals in Toronto, PRTM management consultants in Boston, Noranda in both Toronto and Philadelphia and Hatch Associates in Toronto, with significant international experience throughout. Mr. Trebilcock joined the Nevsun team in September 2010.
Kevin Moxham
General Manager
Mr. Moxham joined Bisha Mining in November 2011. He is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience, most recently General Manager positions in mining operations in Tanzania for Barrick at both the Bulyanhulu and North Mara Gold Mines. His experience also includes GM (Mechanized Operations) at Lonmin Platinum Mines and Head of Engineering at Gold Fields Ltd. Mr. Moxham is responsible for overseeing the continued success of the Bisha project and the on-going development of the Eritrea country management team.
